Roseanne Conner: These are a girl’s things, Darlene, as long as a girl is using them. 

Growing up I use to curl in a corner and cry to myself about how much I wished I could have a mother as wonderful as Roseanne.

Growing up, Roseanne was banned in my house for ‘filthy language’ and ‘terrible role models’.

As an adult, I’ve looked back and watched it and realized how much better things would have been if I’d had role models that made it clear that I could be the person I wanted to be and not have to do things just because it was what society expected.

That’s a shame. :( My family loved this show. 

I have everything except the (non-existent, let’s say) last season on DVD.  I always tell people that my mother is basically Roseanne with a masters degree.
